Buying in skills from contractors or conducting development projects off-shore, offers little long-term benefit, in terms of updating in-house skills.  The purpose of X Lab Mentoring is to introduce new technologies, in-house and on-site, focussing on the development of client staff expertise.

Training

Specialist training takes the form of seminars, short courses, and workshops open to the public, or on-site for a particular client.

Mentoring

Mentoring takes the form of on-going support for client software development projects, usually through regular on-site visits.

Consulting

Specialist advice can be provided on behalf of clients, in the form of consulting services.
